Jim Lewis

Jim Lewis currently serves as  City Manager of Pismo Beach.  Mr. Lewis has previously served as Assistant City Manager for the City of Atascadero and  Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Claremont.

 

Mr. Lewis has previously served as president of the Municipal Management Association of Southern California (MMASC). He received a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern California and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Public Finance from the Maxwell School of Citizenship at Syracuse University.

 

Mr. Lewis is active with USC and serves on the executive committee of the Board of Governors of the Alumni Association and on the advisory board of the Master of Public Administration degree program. He is past president of the Claremont Kiwanis Club and continues his Kiwanis involvement in Atascadero. He is also an active member of the Atascadero Elks. An Eagle Scout, he served as Vice President of the Los Padres Council Boy Scouts of America for several years. He was named one of the Top 20 professionals under 40 by The Tribune in 2006.
