Ann Danforth, Of Counsel at Renne Public Law Group, brings more than 30 years of experience to her local government clients. Although her special focus has been on land use matters, she has also worked extensively on public works projects, consultant and other contracts, government claims, personnel matters and, of course, Public Records Act and the Brown Act issues.

 

Ms. Danforth currently serves as General Counsel for the Kensington Police Protection and Community Services District and Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Corte Madera. Before joining RPLG, she served as Town Attorney for the Town of Tiburon from 1996 to 2015, a public hearing officer for the City of Fremont, special counsel to the City of Sonoma and contract counsel for the City of Berkeley. Before serving as Tiburon’s Town Attorney, Ms. Danforth was an associate attorney in the Land Use and Local Government Group of McCutchen, Doyle Brown and Enersen and a Deputy City Attorney for the City of San Jose. She attended University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, JD and University of California, Berkeley, BA
