Announcing CBJ and CCCA Media Partnership

Civic Business Journal (CBJ) is proud to announce a new media partnership with the California Contract Cities Association (CCCA). As media partner, Civic Business Journal will cover CCCA news, events, and developments in Sacramento pertaining to CCCA’s legislative platform.

The partnership is a natural fit for both organizations. Traditional media largely focuses on negative coverage while failing to publicize how governments, organizations and individuals step up to overcome and find solutions to challenges facing local governments. CBJ’s relationship with CCCA provides close access to a leading organization dedicated to excellence and efficacy in local government.

“CCCA is comprised of some of the most innovative civic leaders in California. CBJ values this opportunity to work directly with the association to cover the news created by the actions of CCCA leadership and staff,” said Ryder Smith, President of Tripepi Smith & Associates and owner of CBJ.

CCCA Executive Director Sam Olivito echoed Smith’s sentiments, noting the importance of documenting the numerous unnoticed success stories occurring in cities across California every day. “Cities are doing great work for their communities and California Contract Cities Association supports these cities and their efforts to control their destiny,” said Olivito. “People should know about the efforts of local leaders to share ideas and innovate, and partnering with Civic Business Journal gives us a chance to share that news with a larger audience.”

In the coming months, readers can look forward to exclusive interviews with CCCA leadership, photography at CCCA events provided by CBJ and coverage of issues in Sacramento affecting contract cities.
