IT solutions provider FusionStorm has joined forces with cloud solutions and managed IT services firm Synoptek to meet growing demand for cloud-based, software as a service technology and hosted solutions to support on-premise systems.

and strengthen our portfolio of private, public and hybrid cloud options to accommodate a
strategic, high-performance customer base,” said Tim Britt, CEO, Synoptek. “We will be able to establish a strong global footprint for delivery, scalability and high-availability solutions, and tap FusionStorm’s expertise to fuel growth across a broad portfolio of enterprise IT offerings.”

As part of the partnership, FusionStorm will have a significant equity stake in the new entity, which will operate under the Synoptek brand, and FusionStorm CEO Dan Serpico will hold a seat on the Synoptek board. IT mergers and aquision advisor martinwolf provided counsel in the transaction.

FusionStorm plans to use the proceeds from the transaction to continue its growth and
investment in personnel, operations and new solution offerings. Synoptek plans to continue its expansion in new geographic markets and provide additional cloud service offerings in the future.
