Participants-2_webThe Municipal Management Association of Northern California (MMANC), in partnership with Women Leading Government, held their annual Women’s Leadership Summit on Thursday, April 30th at Parkside Hall in San Jose, CA. This year’s theme was “Communicating with Credibility: Establish, Maintain and Advance your Career”. There were around 230 women that attended this year’s Summit. Attendees learned different types of communication methods that provide credibility and how these methods can be implemented into daily life.

The Women’s Leadership Summit included a discussion panel, executive roundtable, presentations on credibility and confidence, and an award ceremony. Every year the MMANC selects one female member to receive the Rising Star Award. The award ceremony also includes Women Leading Government’s Career Excellence Award as well as recognition for the graduates from the MMANC Certified Government Leader program
