Hal Dash has been the President and CEO of Cerrell Associates, Inc. (CAI) since 1977. In addition to planning and implementing client projects and campaigns, Mr. Dash oversees the areas of Energy and Environmental Public Affairs, Campaigns and Issues Management, and Local Government and Land Use for CAI. Mr. Dash has consulted for or managed nearly 3750 judicial campaigns since 1978, with the firms win percentage being over 95 percent during that time. He is an authority on the judicial campaigns and has published articles, lectured and spoken at conferences for the California Judges Association on the topic.

Previously, Mr. Dash was a broadcast journalist with RKO radio (KHJ) in Los Angeles. He has lectured on public affairs, public relations and politics at the University of Southern California, UCLA, Pepperdine University and Northwestern University. He also comments on politics, government and California trends on local and national radio, television and in print. Mr. Dash holds Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Master’s Degree in Communications Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
