Jack O’Connell

Jack O’Connell is a partner at Capitol Group Advisors and formerly served as State Superintendent. During his two terms as State Superintendent of Public Instruction and twenty years serving in the State Legislature, Mr. O’Connell advocated working towards closing the achievement gap and increasing standards for all of California’s students.
Most recently, Mr. Connell served as the Chief Education Officer at School Innovations & Advocacy (SI&A). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton and a secondary teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach.
