Steven Ly a Council Member for the City Rosemead City Council where he was first elected in March 2009. At the age of 24, he was the youngest council member to serve the City of Rosemead. He also served as the City’s youngest Mayor at the age of 27 from March 2011 to March 2012.
He also currently serves as the CEO for the San Gabriel Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce where he manages day-to-day operations and implements strategies which led to the elimination of all chamber debt, an increase in profitability from events, and increase in membership.
In addition to his roles for the City of Rosemead and for the San Gabriel Chamber, Steven is also LA League Division President for the League of California Cities and a publisher for the San Gabriel Valley Business Journal which focuses on the region’s economic news; industry trends; education and technology; dining, entertainment and tourism, transportation and infrastructure.
