The City of Menifee Hires Bob Murray & Associates for Professional Recruitment Services

On June 7, 2017, the Menifee City Council approved the Professional Services Agreement with Bob Murray & Associates for Professional Recruitment Services.

Menifee is a vibrant, young city situated in the heart of Southwest Riverside County along Interstate 215, Menifee is one of the few communities in Southern California with available land in an economic development corridor. This business-friendly city is also investing more than $100 million in infrastructure and traffic improvement projects over the next five years and has a growing population, with a median age of 38 years, clamoring for amenities in their own community. As more developers are discovering this unique situation, Menifee is buzzing as the new hot spot in Riverside County.

Due to the resignation of former City Manager, Robert Johnson, in December of 2016, the City sent RFQ’s to seven different recruiting firms asking for proposals to conduct a recruitment for City Manager. The City received a proposal from Bob Murray & Associates and an email from Peckham & McKenney stating that they could not consider taking on more clients at this time. As a result Bob Murray & Associates was the selected firm.

The term of the agreement began on June 7, 2017 and will end on October 31, 2017 unless the term of the Agreement is otherwise terminated or extended. The contracted bid amount is not to exceed $25,000.
