City of Manteca Launches Revitalized Website at Manteca.gov

The City of Manteca is pleased to announce the completion of its website revitalization. The City first began its website redesign process in late 2021, and the new Manteca website went live on November 29, 2022. With a modernized design and layout, the website is user-friendly and much easier to navigate.

“This project reflects the growth of our community. While the new look and feel may take some getting used to, it will serve as a better hub of information for residents, business owners and visitors,” said Interim City Manager Toni Lundgren. “We have focused a lot of effort on improving the user experience for our community, making key resources easier to find.”

To enhance accessibility, the City worked with Granicus to create an ADA-compliant website that includes assistive technology compatibility. The website’s features and colors were purposefully used to make the website as easily navigable and accessible as possible. From the homepage, residents can access popular pages, stay up to date with Manteca news and announcements and view a calendar of meetings and events happening in the City. The primary navigation menu is organized into three categories:

  • Residents – resources such as recycling and trash information, Manteca Transit times and portals to pay bills online.
  • Businesses – resources including permit information, economic development information, small business resources and grant information.
  • Departments – all items related to the City, including Council and Commission agendas, links to department webpages and voting and election information.

“Residents and business owners were top of mind throughout the entire redesign process,” said Director of Information Technology & Innovation Pennie Arounsack. “The website redesign streamlines information and makes it easier for all users to find relevant information and services. Instead of small text and countless links, we made sure the new homepage utilized larger text, contrasting colors and prioritized webpage navigation to make online visits efficient and effective.”
