Civiltec Staff Engineer Alec Escamilla has earned his Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate upon successfully completing the examination process in March 2021. An important step towards earning a Professional Engineer (PE) license, the EIT certification demonstrates command of the material tested on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.

“The FE exam is extremely rigorous and prepares you well for the demands of the field,” said Alec. “I’m pleased to have earned my certification, with Civiltec’s support, to expand my knowledge and capabilities for the benefit of our clients.”

Alec’s EIT designation puts him in the company of 8 other EIT certified staff engineers at Civiltec. He plans to follow in the footsteps of two other staff members pursuing their PE licenses.
