ICFA to Host Sustainable Cities Seminar

Thursday March 20, 2014, the Independent Cities Finance Authority (ICFA) will host a half-day seminar presenting the opportunities available to cities to retrofit existing infrastructure to save energy and money.

A Half-Day Seminar will feature experts discussing the benefits of LED retrofit technology and solar installation. Panelists will include Frank Mann of Climatec, a representative from Southern California Edison, Michael Chapin of Connor Energy, Scott Schumacher of Borrego Solar, and public officials in California who have recently guided their cities through the process of updating infrastructure.

The seminar will take place 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, the first hotel in Los Angeles to be awarded the Green Seal Silver Certification for its investments in environmentally friendly practices.
