MMASC 2019 Annual Conference

The MMASC Annual Conference is MMASC’s signature event and the premier training conference in Southern California for local government professionals. Members of the local government profession are invited to attend the 2019 Annual Conference to discuss new practices in local government and attend training sessions to develop managerial and leadership skills. The Annual Conference start on November 13th and end on November 15th. The event will take place at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort in Santa Barbara, CA. MMASC boasts over 800 members from over 100 different SoCal cities. Programming this year features sessions on : financial literacy, leadership and the power of diversity, working together to make homelessness a rare, brief, and one time experience, and more. The event is also a moment to recognize the efforts of outgoing MMASC presdent Nic Gonzalez from the City of Ontario as he hands the Presidential powers over to Izzy Murguia from Poway.

Annual Conference attendees with benefit from focused “nuts and bolts” training on local government management combined with opportunities for attendees to connect and build strong relationships with local government peers. The event is capped by a speed networking session with experienced city managers who donate their time to give back to future local government leaders.
