Southern California Edison Renews CCMF Corporate Benefactor Sponsorship

The California City Management Foundation (CCMF) has announced that Southern California Edison has renewed its Corporate Benefactor sponsorship of CCMF for the 2018-19 year. Southern California Edison (SCE) is one of the largest electric utilities in the U.S. and a longtime leader in renewable energy and energy efficiency. With headquarters in Rosemead, CA, SCE serves approximately 15 million people in a 50,000 square-mile area of central, coastal and southern California. SCE has provided electric service in the region for more than 130 years and is committed to keeping electricity safe, reliable, affordable and clean. SCE’s electric infrastructure includes 1.4 million power poles, 700,000 transformers and 103,000 miles of distribution and transmission power lines.

“We’d like to thank Southern California Edison for believing in the CCMF mission and putting their support behind California’s city managers. As such a huge player in their own industry, it’s wonderful to have them serve as an example and demonstrate the importance of healthy city leadership to other organizations.” – Wade McKinney, CCMF President
