Tripepi Smith welcomed Ervin Velasquez to the team as Junior Business Analyst on December 2, 2024. He joins the team from the Antelope Valley area and will focus his work on communities in the high desert region.

Ervin is a dedicated professional with a passion for learning, design and community success, and his diverse skillset spans both technical and creative fields. Before delving into graphic design, Ervin served as an Informatics Technician with the U.S. Air Force 412th Medical Squadron as a Department of Defense employee. During this time, he developed a strong foundation in data management and information systems. It was also during his tenure with the Air Force that Ervin rediscovered his love for design, prompting him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the Los Angeles Film School. This career shift led to roles as a Media Specialist for a nonprofit organization and as a Graphic Designer for a marketing agency. Coupled with his experience with videography and photography, Ervin uses his skills to tell a client’s story. Ervin also has a passion for public service and was a part-time park ranger for the City of Lancaster.
