The City of Palmdale recently tapped Tripepi Smith to design their annual 2025 Generations Art Exhibit Calendar, showcasing artwork from the annual Generations Art Exhibit at the Palmdale Playhouse. Each month in the calendar features a winning piece (first, second or third place) from each competition category. Eerie page highlights important details about the highlighted artwork, including the artist’s name and age, artwork title, medium and category of competition. Full biographies of each winner are showcased on the calendar’s back page.
“The Generations Calendar is an important project for the City because it gives us the opportunity to showcase local talent as young as 12 years old,” said Palmdale City Manager Ronda Perez. “For many of these artists, this is their first chance to have their work displayed publicly. We are grateful to Tripepi Smith for helping us bring this initiative to life for our community.”
The calendar was designed by Junior Graphic Designer Alexis Mendez, who collaborated closely with Palmdale Parks and Recreation staff to bring their vision to fruition.
“It was a pleasure to be able to work with City on this design,” said Alexis. “They gave me the flexibility to include additional artwork on the back page with the artist bios, and we both valued the bright colors and artistic design of this piece.”
