Patricia Martel

Patricia Martel has been City Manager of Daly City since May, 2005. In her capacity as City Manager, Ms. Martel is also the General Manager of the North San Mateo County Sanitation District. Ms. Martel has held various executive management positions with several California municipalities including the cities of Inglewood, South San Francisco and Daily City. In 2001, she was appointed to serve as the General Manager of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. She was previously the Assistant City Manager of Daly City.

She also served as President of ICMA 2015-2016.

Ms. Martel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Affairs and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
