Erickson-Hall Honored with Construction Safety Excellence Award

Erickson-Hall was recently recognized by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) with the prestigious Construction Safety Excellence Award (CSEA), placing 1st in the San Diego Chapter in the Municipal Division with 100,001 to 300,000 Hours Worked and 2nd nationally in the same division.

AGC recognizes construction firms who demonstrate exceptional commitments to safety and occupational health management and risk control. In addition to measuring accident frequency rates, the AGC judges have thorough criteria for placement. Awards are given based on a number of factors, including management’s commitment to safety, active employee participation, safety training, worksite hazard identification and control and safety program innovation. AGC previously honored Erickson-Hall with CSEA recognition in the municipal division in 2006 and 2007.

“Construction jobsites are dangerous work environments. Placing 1st at the local level for CSEA and then topping that win with a 2nd place position nationally serves as validation that Erickson-Hall, because of our unyielding commitment to safety, provides some of the safest construction work environments you will find throughout this country. Bottom line, at the end of the day it’s all about going home to your family,” said Julia Hope, Safety and Training Coordinator at Erickson-Hall.

Headquartered in Escondido, Erickson-Hall is a recognized Southern California construction industry active in both the public and private sector markets.
