Urban Futures, Inc. (UFI) CEO Michael Busch has announced the restructuring of UFI to align with the growing portfolio of services offered.

UFI has been serving public agencies with financial advisory, strategic planning, financial analysis and management consulting services since 1972. Following a successful track record and a growing need for client services, UFI has developed three divisions under the parent company: Isom Advisors, UFI Public Finance Group and the UFI Public Management group. The new structure breakdown enables UFI to better focus resources and services to each of their individual clients demands.

Their newest division, UFI Public Management Group, offers public agencies strategic and financial planning services, utility services, economic development services through Public Land Use Specialist (PLUS) and organizational analysis. Agencies began to need more focused services in the management section, which created a perfect opportunity to expand and create a Public Management Group to specifically deal with these clients and services.

UFI Public Management Group represents an assembly of experts in the public sector who partner with staff to support analysis and innovative approaches to the new challenges,” stated Mr. Busch “Public agencies have a one-stop shop for accessing some of the most innovative experts in California’s local government.”

UFI Public Finance Group will continue its long tradition of providing assistance through issuance of municipal bonds, financial planning and municipal budgeting.
