On March 1, Aquaterra Environmental Solutions, Inc. (Aquaterra) became part of SCS Engineers (SCS). Aquaterra now operates under its new name, SCS Aquaterra.

Aquaterra was founded in February of 2002. The company has focused on solid waste management and environmental engineering and consulting. Aquaterra’s practice areas include alternative energy, civil engineering, compliance monitoring and reporting, construction quality insurance, environmental services, landfill and landfill gas engineering. The current Aquaterra team of nearly 75 employees is located across 10 offices in 7 states.
