Palm Springs Closes All Restaurants and Bars Early

Beginning at 12 p.m. on Friday, July 31, the City of Palm Springs has issued a new supplementary order that requires restaurants, bars, wineries, distilleries and breweries to close from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. These closures have been put into place in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Establishments that do not follow the new order risk facing fines as well as license revocations.

Restaurants are still allowed to operate under certain restrictions during day time hours, but may not sit customers later than 10 p.m. The order will remain in effect until modification or until superseded by the Director of Emergency Services, City Council, or any other order.
