Investment bank and financial services companies Piper Jaffray and Sandler O’Neill have completed their merger to become Piper Sandler.
The merger will incorporate each former company’s strengths, drawing from the investment banking platform of Piper Jaffray and advice and solutions in the financial services industry of Sander O’Neill. The merger comes on the 125th anniversary of Piper Jaffray as a firm.
The firm remains a multinational corporation, offering services with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring, institutional brokerage, public finance and offerings, investment management and securities research.
Piper Jaffray announced their agreement to buy Sandler O’Neill in July of 2019. Piper Sandler is based in Minneapolis, MN.
