Synoptek, an IT services firm based in Irvine, is ranked 20th on the annual Top 501 Managed Service Provider List, according to MSPmentor.

The MSPmentor list, which started in 2007, is a distinguished report that identifies the top managed service providers (MSPs) from around the world. It ranks those companies that deliver cloud based IT services, on-premise IT management services, or end-user consumable services on a flat fee or subscription basis.

The ranking is an improvement from last year’s, when Synoptek ranked 98th. The rise in the service provider rankings illustrates the growing market acceptance of the Synoptek model for cloud-based “as-a-service” technology as well as powerful hosted solutions that complement on-premise systems.
