In February 2022, Tripepi Smith successfully implemented Sprout Social, a social media management platform, to enhance the firm’s internal social media practices. This organizational shift was led by Principal Jon Barilone and Business Analyst Sydni Overly. Tripepi Smith made a choice to shift away from Hootsuite and sign a multi-year enterprise-level contract with Sprout Social.
“The digital marketing world is constantly evolving,” said Jon. “Tripepi Smith is always on the lookout for tools that can help us stay ahead of the curve to ensure we efficiently produce top-tier work for our clients.”
Sprout Social offers tools to organize social media communication for several clients, analyze post performances, identify trends and listen to public conversations among community members of their client public agencies. Tripepi Smith’s implementation on Sprout Social covers nearly 20 clients with over 90 profiles connected to the platform supporting LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
“Our team has taken the time to complete the certification course and explore the tools that Sprout Social has to offer,” said Sydni. “By consolidating our content creation, media monitoring and data analytics onto a single platform, Sprout Social allows us to better streamline our social media management operations.”
In addition to scheduling posts and monitoring media, Tripepi Smith has begun shifting to use Sprout Social’s Analytics tools to produce monthly metrics reports for clients. Not only does the Reporting feature allow users to review post performances on a single platform, but it can also produce a report on how posts are performing across all social media platforms, which is fundamental to Tripepi Smith’s metrics reports. Instead of pulling these metrics from each individual platform, Sprout Social provides a one-stop shop for all data needs.
“Tripepi Smith has a long history of combining technology with wicked smart people to deliver innovative and efficient solutions into the marketplace. This substantial investments in Sprout Social reflects that core ethos while giving Tripepi Smith a competitive advantage in the market that comes from size and volume of social media work that we execute for public agencies and the private companies that serve them,” said Ryder Todd Smith, president of Tripepi Smith.
The Sprout Social implementation follows Tripepi Smith’s implementation of Meltwater in 2020. The Meltwater tool provide extensive media monitoring and reporting features that are rarely affordable for any single public agency, but becomes affordable through partnership with Tripepi Smith. The Media Intelligence Service is being leverage by public agencies for both ongoing media monitoring as well as crisis communication situation.
