Westminster’s City Manager to Join Private Sector

After seven years as City Manager for the City of Westminster, Eddie Manfro is set to retire and join the private sector.

Manfro was named City Manager in 2012 after his predecessor, Mitch Waller, retired. City Council has not yet named Manfro’s replacement.

In a letter to City Council, Manfro addressed his retirement on January 16 by stating, “After much reflection, I have chosen to pursue an exciting career opportunity in the private sector. This new venture is not connected in any way to local government.”

Manfro served as Assistant City Manager from August 2011 through July of 2012, when he then became City Manager. He will officially retire on February 29, 2020. Manfro has 27 years of municipal government experience.
